Bangladesh Violence Latest News: The matter of attack on Hindus in Bangladesh has now reached the All India Akhada Parishad in Haridwar. Regarding this, the All India Akhada Parishad, the apex body of saints and sages, held a meeting on Tuesday (13 August 2024). In this meeting, the attacks on Hindus were discussed. After this, the council condemned the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh and urged the United Nations to unanimously pass a resolution.
The council has also written a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres regarding its demands. In the letter written to Antonio Guterres, Council President Mahant Ravindra Puri has expressed deep concern over the violence against Hindus amid the recent political turmoil in the neighboring country. He has written, “The whole world is silent about the crimes against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh.”
Demand to take appropriate steps by passing a resolution in the UN
Mahant Ravindra Puri has urged the United Nations Secretary General to unanimously pass a resolution condemning the wave of violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. He wrote, “We hope that you will understand the sentiments of the saints of the Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad and take necessary steps to control the violence and persecution against Hindus in Bangladesh.”
Naga monks are ready for Bangladesh march
Apart from the letter, in a conversation with a news channel, Mahant Ravindra Puri also said that if the Indian government allows, Naga sadhus are ready to march to Bangladesh to save the Hindu minorities there. He said, “The atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh are intolerable. If the Indian government allows, the Naga monks here, who were born to protect Sanatan, are ready to march to Bangladesh to protect Hindus.”
